Technologies/Roles: Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management Administrator, Systems Admin of Windows Active Directory infrastructure running physical and virtual Windows Server 2016-2019 servers managing all aspects of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS, as well as VPNs, Term Servers and all WAN, LAN, SAN, VOIP technologies and infrastructure.Since starting with the company, I have reconfigured the LAN to provide more address space, upgraded and expanded the Wi-Fi infrastructure across five non-contiguous floors in our professional office building, migrated from an in-house Exchange server to Office 365, designed, configured and installed a hosted VOIP solution allowing for a paradigm shift in call flow, call accounting and, ideally, a more patient-centric experience. During this process I negotiated new, contracts with both the existing ISP and a new ISP to provide redundant fiber connections – taking our bandwidth from 50 Mb/s and a single point of failure to a redundant 600 Mb/s for only twice the original 50Mb/s cost.

This class is an extended delivery session covering 10 months of instruction divided into sessions totaling a minimum of 16 hours per week. The three major sections are built around the CompTIA certifications: IT Fundamentals, Network+ and Security+. Since there are no prerequisites to the class, I begin each session by building a foundation of IT knowledge with the students using training materials, in-class scenarios and my years of experience. Once a foundation has been built, I then develop a framework of networking knowledge, supported by industry leader CompTIA Network+ training with a heavy emphasis on real world experience. Upon this framework, I fit one of the most pressing IT needs of the time - Security. Throughout the sessions I also bring in special speakers from the IT community, who have careers in IT Consulting, Security, Administration, etc. to address, inform, and motivate the class.

Smoky Mountain Running Camp is one of the longest standing camps in US Sports Camps history. As a Senior Staff Coach, I work hand in hand with some of the best college and high school coaches in the country. Give daily talks, or classes, on various running topics, such as: Goal Setting, Running Motivation, Running Outside the Box, and The Small Things.I also help lead a group of 15-20 runners, from all over the country, through their two-a-day training sessions. As needed, I also deliver daily sessions of Video Analysis to assist the runners with their running form and proper mechanics.

Building on my experience as Head Cross Country and Track Coach for North Florida Christian School and Florence Christian School in Florence SC, for the previous 13 years, and as a Senior Staff Coach at the Nike, Smoky Mountain Running Camp for the same time, and because of the diligence and work ethic of my runners, and their dedication to the program, we were able to earn 3rd place at both FHSAA Districts and Regionals, CCSs highest rankings ever at both events and their first time breaking the top 5 at a Regional event. We are looking forward to more improvement and growth for the upcoming Track season.

Instruction in various forms of martial arts, such as sanshou, which combines full-contact kickboxing, with wrestling, takedowns, throws, sweeps, kick catches, and elbow and knee strikes (only allowed in some competitions) for sport or for use in self-defense. Instruction in shuai chaio, or Chinese wrestling - similar to judo, or sambo - as well as tai chi. I have over 20 years of martial arts experience, and 18 years of teaching experience. I received my training from a 31st generation Shaolin Monk, named Liu Xianyang, who I trained with 8 hours a day 6 days a week, year round. From 1993 through 1997 I was ranked one of the top fighters and wrestlers in the nation in my weight class. I also won multiple US Open Tournaments from 1993-1996, as well as silver and gold at 2 different National Championships. I have trained with, and trained personally, people from all walks of life, from amateurs to professional fighters (such as Cung Le and Patrick Berry) as well as law enforcement and elite military personnel.

In a few short years, I was able to rebuild a flagging distance team of just one or two runners, to a full team that was able to earn a spot at the FHSAA Regional Meet, as well as earn individual places at the FHSAA State Championships. I have also been able to prepare some individual runners for post season competition on Florida All-Star teams, AAU and/or USATF Junior Olympics and for collegiate running.

Direct Report to the CEO, serving as a key member of the executive management team, providing input to the CEO and department heads regarding IT initiatives in support of PDOA Corporate strategy.Replaced the outsourced IT consulting company, managing all IT services for the Orthopaedic Specialty practice originally comprising two offices across the city and an attached Spine Center. Created a Standard Operating Procedures for the department as well as creating and implementing a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan for the practice. With regards to Business Continuity: I implemented full scale bare metal server backups of both physical and virtual servers (25+), locally and to the cloud. I migrated the inhouse exchange server to a hosted environment and removed the old hybrid phone system, replacing it with a hosted VOIP phone solution. I was brought in as the top level IT staff / Network Administrator after the unforeseen departure of the previous Administrator. My main tasks were: Troubleshoot and complete a failed CommuniGate Pro Mail to Microsoft Exchange eMail migration. Reconfigure or rebuild an unresponsive Blackberry Enterprise Server and bring it back on line. Crack and reconfigure a St Bernard iPrism web filtering appliance as well as a Barracuda anti-spam appliance - whose passwords vacated with the previous admin. Reconfigure a 2 TB Quantum Tape based backup strategy that had also not worked for a several months.
