Primary responsibilities include designing, managing, and maintaining topology of new technology consisting of digital cable TV, broadband Internet and telephony services transmitted over the existing telephony infrastructure to customers.• Managed and integrated the design of telephony infrastructure consisting of: Fujitsu OC-48/OC-12 fiber optic rings, SONET and optical networks, DS0s, DS1s, DS3s, digital cross connect systems, dedicated channelized data circuits and Advanced Fiber Communications equipment for Remote Telephony Line Switching.• Integrated and supervised operation of digital cable satellite equipment including: Motorola, Blonder-Tonge, PowerVue, General Instruments and Wegener Communications satellite demodulators and receivers, Tektronix digital satellite MPEG2 encoder/decoder networks, Next Level Unified Access Platform providing voice, high-speed data, and digital video services over existing telephone lines, TV, VDSL / ATM video and data network services for 20,000 subscriber lines.• Developed and managed company intranet, Internet Service Provider equipment including modem banks, VDSL and DSL networks, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks, Cisco routers, hubs and switches, Sun Solaris Unix web servers and Domain Name Servers, and Broadband Internet and data services including ADSL, HDSL, and VDSL.• Created a successful company website, installation of web based email interface, and internal website for distribution of technical information to management, engineering, marketing and sales teams.

As an air defense artillery Chaparral crew member, I trained to target, fire, and maintain missiles, rockets and other weapons used to destroy enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. Duties include testing, inspecting, storing ammunition and missiles; conducting preventive and routine maintenance on weapons and related equipment; establishing and maintaining radio and wire communications; and operating weapon targeting, firing, and launch computer systems.• Supervised and instructed team members in procedures and skills to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.• Responsible for cross training team members in all positions needed to run the squad efficiently and effectively.• Performed appropriate safety procedures in a nuclear, biological or chemical environment.
