As the AVP Information Security at CollegeNET, I lead the design, implementation, and management of secure IT systems across various platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. I hold the CISSP and APIsec certifications, and I have extensive knowledge of network and server technologies, scripting languages, and security frameworks.In my 23 years of experience, I have successfully brought our company into alignment with SOC 2 and PCIDSS, conducted risk assessments, designed and ran a security awareness program, and deployed and managed anti-malware and anti-phishing solutions across the enterprise. I have also performed API penetration testing using BURP Suite, OWASP ZAP and other tools, identifying and resolving vulnerabilities and enhancing our security posture. I have experience managing teams of IT professionals, and I communicate effectively with all stakeholders, from executives to developers, account managers, technical support personnel, accountants, and human resources. My mission is to protect our company's data, assets, and reputation, and to empower our customers and partners with secure and reliable solutions.
