Proverbs 15:22 says, "Refuse good advice and watch your plans fail; take good counsel and watch them succeed." As Director of Financial Planning with Capital Financial Group, my role is to provide the often-missing element of wise counsel. My background as an attorney helping insurance companies manage their financial risk gives me a unique perspective. Insurance companies have no interest in strategies which "might" work. They think catastrophically and plan for certainty. I believe this same approach is as true for an insurance company as it is for an individual planning for retirement, a small business owner struggling to make payroll, and so on.I lead my clients through a process wherein we take inventory of their current financial position, goals and objectives-- and the risks which threaten the same. I then help my clients design and implement realistic financial plans which are resilient to risk. Ultimately, my goal is to build relationships and to become the trusted advisor for my clients.
