Andy is a technology and media executive with over 20 years experience. He was co-founder and CEO of Daily Burn (Sold to IAC in 2010) and COO of CommentSold (Sold to ZMC in 2019, Sold to Permira in 2021). He has recently rejoined Daily Burn after purchasing a majority from IAC and is now Executive Chairman and funding the next phase of growth.Prior to purchasing and re-joining Daily Burn, Andy was COO for CommentSold.com, where he led all strategy and operations, including: marketing, sales, corporate development, finance, people operations, and business development. Under his leadership, CommentSold grew from $30M valuation to near unicorn status, driving over $1B in GMV and closing two separate private equity transactions (ZMC and Permira). Andy was the original CEO and Co-founder of Daily Burn, founded in 2007, sold to IAC in 2010, and then operated inside IAC until 2017. He was responsible for all aspects of company growth and operations, with a special emphasis in streaming live video media, digital consumer subscriptions, marketing, and business partnerships. He led the pivot of Daily Burn from an iOS app that tracked food and workouts to a full media company, including a live daily fitness show called Daily Burn 365. He has a special passion for both health/fitness and technology - and combining these two for the benefit of ALL people has been his primary driving force behind all aspects of Daily Burn.
