I also help GNP's executive team and property/portfolio managers promote and carry out the organization's culture and corresponding values and vision through all corporate entities. During this tenure, I spearheaded end-to-end operations management for two wholly owned brands (Coffee Zon and Zing Cafe) as well as four Franchisees (Granite City, Copper Moon, Au Bon Pain & Nature's Table) with revenue of $16M+. I administrated and allocated budgets, capital expenditure, loss prevention, and apportionment of sales initiatives, as well as managing P&L and devising/analyzing sales forecasts for market-performance assessment. I managed and led staff in operations with training of personal, handling and leading succession planning, and undertaking staff/manager retention initiatives. I was the liaison with Franchisor's Operations Team and supported promotional campaigns and go-to-market strategies. I envisioned, implemented and monitored operational restricting efforts and process improvements to enhance procedural efficiency, maximizing productivity, streamlining inter-related functions and improve profitability. I ensured total regulatory compliance to institute alignment with company objectives/values, customer service benchmarks (HEART CULTURE), hygiene/food quality standards, and legal requirements. I helped develop effective purchasing strategies and maintained excellent vendor relationships to secure favorable pricing. My key contributions during this tenure include:* Orchestrated aggressive turnaround of restaurant operations, garnering significant improvements in health inspection ratings, food quality, cost controls, and staff training/morale improvement. * Improved talent pool drastically at store-manager level; facilitated improvement of under performers, and recruited new talent into the organization. * Initiated Quality, Service, Cleanliness framework, and conducted thorough audits to maintain quality standards and retain clientele. * 2017 Au Bon Pain Franchisee of the Year.

In this position, I steered full-scope Franchise management functions, including business development, budgetary control, and resource allocation. I undertook standardization and process improvements to generate record profitability. I on-boarded, trained, and managed top operational and leadership talent, and created a high performance team by utilizing engagement and motivational techniques. I built and maintained productive relationships with Franchisees, building owners, vendors and customers to fortify market position and value proposition. I mentored management staff (both Company and Franchisees) on interactions with staff at all levels in the organization, as well as with corporate, franchise , district and general managers. My key contributions during this position include:* Augmented Franchise store revenues significantly, while simultaneously increasing the Franchise EBITDA.* Introduced, implemented and consistently reviewed/reinforced systems and QSC standards to ensure Franchise operations were operating at their highest level. * Introduced yearly one on on financial/business reviews with each Franchise owner to review their profitability, people and new restaurant development opportunities.
