I have the privilege of leading the policy research and insights team at Economist Impact for Asia Pacific, the research and engagement division of The Economist Group. I also work on a number of our major global initiatives and partnerships as the editorial director.An Asia specialist, I draw on my experience running The Economist Corporate Network, the c-suite briefing and networking service from The Economist Intelligence Unit, and my academic career at leading universities and business schools in the UK and Japan, to help people make sense of and navigate the global political economy. A seasoned public speaker I am regularly invited to chair major Economist events and appear on global business news channels. I deliver economic and political briefings to high-level audiences of business leaders, policy makers and politicians. I am a published author and experienced writer but I am most effective and energised when leading and motivating a team or bringing people together as an experienced networker.
