Started as a Salesman in Southern Pines, and then moved into management. When corporate decision was made to close Southern Pines operation I accepted management position in Cary NC. With the help of a strong team we successfully held and serviced 50% of our Southern Pines market from Cary while increasing sales locally.

I was hired as a Purchasing Agent in 1997 and worked my way into sales. In 1999 I accepted the Counter Sales Manager position where I supervised three counter salesmen. My experience at Crescent included ISO 9002 Quality training. I was the Quality Coordinator, Steering Team leader and was instrumental in securing our ISO 9002 certification.

I started in 1989 shortly after Captain Joe Hazelwood ran the Exxon Valdez into Bly Reef in Alaska’s Prince William Sound creating one of the worlds largest man-made disasters. I worked as a file clerk during the oil spill days, then as an accounts payable clerk and finally as a Purchasing Agent ordering material for oil field projects in Prudhoe Bay Alaska.
