Food allergies continue to be a significant public health concern as there are as many as 15 million people worldwide that have food allergies with nearly 6 million being children (or 8% of all children). The problem with existing epinephrine auto-injectors on the market can best be summarized by the following; 1) There is no auto-injector currently on the market that delivers the appropriate dose of epinephrine and has the appropriate needle size for infants and young children; 2) The administration technique of current auto-injector devices may be intimidating to non-healthcare professionals and some design features may increase the risk of improper administration technique in emergency scenarios, resulting in inadequate medication delivery and; 3) The cost of the EPIPEN device has increased 400% ($58 to $600) over the last number of years and has become unaffordable to the masses.

Wipe-Rite Technology, a medical marketplace start up technology to be used for decontaminating IV catheters used in ICU, Medical Floors and Hemodialysis Centers. Central Line infections of 80,000 patients per year add $1 billion cost uncompensated to hospitals and clinics per year in the USA. Up to 14,000 patients per year die. Our goal is to help to eliminate these unnecessary infections by helping nurses and doctors with the challenge of cleaning the contamination.
