My role involves liaison between the production team and the execution team for optimum decommissioning activities for plant handover to Contractors for repurposing. Management of the operations team in a period of change, focusing on Safe Operations while de-commissioning and maintaining Operating Standards including the use of procedures, audits, SAO's and Incident investigation.One of my proudest achievements has been the shutting down of the 5 chemical plants in a Major Hazard Facility, on Schedule, with no safety incidents, no environmental issues and maintaining a focused team at the end of manufacturing. This Achievement was recognised by winning the 2024 Chemistry Australia Industry Award for Health, Safety and Environment. Show less
