I am the AVP of Wireless Performance and Analysis, responsible for overseeing the aggregated operations and business performance for Cox Mobile. I was a key leader responsible for the start-up, build-out and development of the initial strategic assessment for this new line of business. I bring significant program/portfolio management and delivery experience for several of Cox’s past key multi-billion dollar transformative strategic initiatives. These include the build-out of Cox’s gigabit fiber network and the wholesale syndication of its video, telephony and home automation/security product launches.I am fortunate to have a diverse background which has proven to be transferable – ranging from strategy and finance to portfolio and program management. It has allowed me to promote an analytical approach both in problem-solving and establishing work structures.My leadership and operating philosophy is simple: leave the business in a better place than when I found it. Over the course of my career, transformation and creating opportunities for meaningful change has been the core of what I do.Specific accomplishments include: the buildout and launch of Cox Mobile; the wholesale syndication and integration of Comcast's Xfinity X1 video product, digital telephony and home automation/security platforms; program and portfolio managing the $10 billion buildout of Cox's own gigabit fiber next-generation access network; and other product and front-line process transformations. The Xfinity X1 video integration culminated in Cox's fastest product roll-out in company history and the Comcast telephony integration resulted in the successful migration of over 1.2 million telephony customers.

The Cox Wireless initiative was developed in a start-up environment and encompassed the network buildout, MVNO deployment, billing/CRM integration, retail buildout, supply chain establishment and device/accessory portfolio management. In addition, my team was responsible for all aspects of market deployment and launch readiness across all cross-functional teams. My team also designed and analyzed the operational KPIs to measure product and operational effectiveness. This program resulted in 10 MVNO market deployments and 2 network market buildouts.

I analyzed various alternative business models - including joint venture partnerships, acquisitions, wholesale partnerships, and network buildouts, making recommendations to executive management on profitability and financial impact of potential courses of action. I participated in the strategic planning process to assess financial viability of multiple strategic wireless opportunities and represented Cox in joint ventures with Comcast and Time Warner Cable. With a budget in the hundreds of millions, I monitored and directed financial processes, overseeing capital planning and accounting for all wireless initiatives. I also led the financial and operational aspects of the joint venture between cable and Sprint as resellers to test the integration of Sprint wireless products into the cable core products, managing the launch into the marketplace and ensuring processes were in place to meet all internal deadlines and objectives.
