When I was a kid, I learned to program the family VCR so my parents and three older siblings wouldn't miss their favorite shows. I experienced the thrill of mastering a new technology and using that knowledge to make a positive impact on others. Since that VCR was a Betamax, I later learned that good technology doesn't ensure business success. Today I'm still constantly learning and love to tackle complex technology and convey how it creates value for companies and individuals. At Mercury, HP, and OpTier, I worked extensively with customers - from developers up to CIO's. I have helped sell $10K transactions and $15M strategic deals, both on-premise and in the cloud.I've worn many hats - engineer, programmer, UI designer, product specialist, writer, presenter, sales engineer, sales rep, and manager. As a result, I have a unique ability to fluidly talk tech while simultaneously speaking in business terms. I'm at my best when leading and mentoring teams to learn to sell newly released or acquired products in highly competitive environments.Experience proves that my professional value is based on the following: - I am a natural learner.
