As founder, CEO, and board member, Andy leads the nonprofit corporation that created a vibrant campus on 10 acres on the west side of Chicago that had been vacant for 40 years. He founded the charitable 501c3 with the mission of providing a safe, professional-level sports destination and programming in sports, wellness, education, and the arts for under-resourced communities in Chicago. Leveraging world-class spaces, a professional staff, and sports science/technology, Intentional serves roughly 2000 kids a week and hosts 250,000 visitors a year. The goal is simple – provide positive activities that kids can fall in love with every day after school. Andy led fundraising conversations to raise ~$37MM of the $41MM total cost to design and build a 152,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor community sports center. Partnered with other nonprofit organizations to serve Chicago youth, such as After School Matters, Urban Initiatives, Special Olympics, Top Soccer, Travis Manion Foundation, Owls Lacrosse, Beat the Streets Wrestling, La Casa Norte, and many more. Andy leads a Board of Directors that includes US Soccer Hall of Famers, CEOs, and Professional Sports Executives who share a vision of leveraging sports to create positive change. Negotiated deals with champion partners, including Wintrust Bank, Pepsi, Gatorade, Riot Games, the Chicago Fire, Bears, Cubs, the City of Chicago, and CPS Schools, among others. Currently fundraising and operating an annual budget of $2.5MM.

Leveraging three decades of experience in sports, entertainment, and leadership (and countless lessons learned the hard way), Andy assists select clients with envisioning and realizing their own dream projects.

As Executive Director, Andy leads this reputable community club that was founded in 1968. He was asked to help the club bounce back. The club has become healthy again: they signed a new sponsorship deal, brought technology and sports science into play, had 800 kids at tryouts in year two, added a U8 Competitive Program, created a U6 Grassroots Recreational Program, doubled the Competitive Program to 46 teams and built the professional coaching staff to 23 men and women, created a volunteer coaching education program for the 100+ Recreational coaches, and has about 1000 families in the recreational program.

The N Club helps former Wildcat letter winners maintain their ties to the University and strengthen their alumni network. With roots dating back to 1914, the N Club provides vital support to ensure the continued success of Northwestern Athletics and today’s student-athletes. The N Club hosts receptions following home football games, a series of networking events, and an annual Senior Induction and Awards Dinner honoring graduating student-athletes. The N Club also supports current student-athletes through an endowed scholarship and a mentoring program.

As a Producer, Actor, Writer, and National Fitness Personality, Andy founded this Production and Entertainment Company while living and working in Hollywood. As an actor, Andy has appeared in over 40 Films and TV Shows, while also appearing in many national commercials and advertising campaigns. Was the main hero of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 ($550 MM opening weekend, 27 MM units sold and $1.5 Billion globally) and was the face on the cover of the game. As a writer, he penned a feature film optioned for development and a pilot episode for a series based upon true experiences he went through as a police officer. As a Fitness Personality, Andy wrote a monthly article in Muscle and Fitness Magazine for two years as their Bodyweight Training Expert. He continues to write articles and produce video content for many national publications, including USA Today, Men’s Fitness, TRX, and his YouTube channel has 4.5 million viewers. As a full-time actor in LA, Andy appeared in over 30 Films and Television Shows. He also appeared in over 15 National Commercials and Campaigns. Andy has been working in front of the camera for 25 years; currently working on Chicago-based productions.As a fitness expert, Andy has been published well over 100 times in national media such as Men's Fitness, USA Today, Muscle & Fitness, and more. His YouTube fitness channel has 4.5 Million views and ~20,000 subscribers. He has been a certified trainer since 1999, and holds other certifications from EXOS, TRX, and Subject Matter Expert from the Sate of Arizona. He currently writes two regular columns for Muscle & Fitness; "Ask Andy" and "Weekly Workout Challenge."

Andy has been coaching soccer at all levels for over 30 years

Andy holds the A License for the US Soccer Federation. As Director of Coaching, Andy was responsible for the development of 1500 youth players across the competitive and recreational divisions of the club; the largest youth sports organization in Solano County. Was asked by government leadership to serve as the Subject Matter Expert in COVID-19 “Return to Play” safety protocols for all of youth sports in Solano County. Restructured the operational model of the competitive side with a three-tiered organizational model which provides more opportunities for varying levels of players. He empowered, educated, and organized the staff of 100+ coaches to provide the best possible environment on each team for the individual players to have fun, develop as student-athletes, and learn the game of soccer. Starting as a camp coach during the summers in college, Andy has coached at all levels for 25 years- including being an Assistant Coach at Northwestern University, Head Coach of a Varsity Boys High School Team, Head Coach of a US Soccer Developmental Academy Team, as well as clinics and camps in places like Honduras, El Salvador, Laos, Thailand, and Hollywood.

As Sporting Director, Andy oversaw the research and development of a new pro franchise, was point in the stadium design, planning, and networking phase. Director and creator of the USL Academy Team in the East Bay. Coordinated the relationship between the pro club and COPA Soccer Training Center. Cultivated and fostered relationships with the extensive Bay Area soccer community.

Andy was recruited to create and develop the 110,000+ sq ft sports and entertainment facility which leverages the world’s top technology and sports science for grassroots development and talent identification. He was the first hire in a groundbreaking startup environment where he focused on Vision-casting and Design, Procurement, Operational Processes, Staffing Models, COPA Score Assessment Creation, Training Regimens, Recruitment, Budgeting, and Oversight of the COPA Fit Sports Performance and Fitness Center. As Director of Culture, Andy hired a team of 50+ talented people and was responsible for all Public Relations and Communications. Launching January 2020, he created messaging and stirred up buzz in the soccer world, with special events featuring players such as Alex Morgan, Chris Wondolowski, Nick Lima, Julie and Zach Ertz, and Lynn Williams, among others. He oversaw the Sales effort during launch, and in the first 40 days sold over 1000 memberships, equating to over $300,000 in monthly revenue.

As a Police Officer on the Tactical Response Unit, Andy served the community in many ways. He was a certified translator in both Spanish and French, Expert Instructor in Physical Conditioning for all law enforcement in Arizona, Peer Counselor for fellow officers in post-traumatic incidents, and ran Point on his unit’s entry squad. Created an aspect of Community Policing; spent downtime playing soccer with the youth in the housing projects of central Phoenix, where he became trusted in that primarily Mexican/Central American neighborhood and developed a successful working relationship between the police department and the community.
