As the Chief of Staff (CoS) I'm responsible for ensuring success in all areas of the organisation's dealings. As the CoS, I'm the right hand of the company's GCEO, assisting with implementing new ideas and strategies. Duties include working behind the scenes to mediate disputes, finding solutions to problems and dealing effectively with issues.The CoS works closely with the executive team and handles principal duties that allow leaders and the senior team to focus on decision-making. Simoco Group is a full lifecycle systems integrator using Edge Computing, IP and cloud-based technology to deliver communication solutions through four global regional businesses. I was chosen to lead the repositioning and rapid expansion of the organisation and teamed with CEO to manage and support distribution business in EMEA, Americas, and Australasia. Developed a strategic blueprint for the company, providing traction enabling the global implementation of the corporate vision.  Orchestrated expansion into vertical markets and product diversification with the introduction of new digital products increasing revenues and consolidating client partnerships. Turned around the EMEA business with hands-on leadership and direct input and was recognised with equity participation as a shareholder and Board Member.

COO for Simoco Group

Comgroup Australia Pty.Ltd. is the Australasian division of the Simoco Group. I was seconded to integrate and transition this newly acquired Australian company into the Simoco business.  Restructured the entire operation, implemented new country-specific initiatives and oversaw the recruitment of a motivated country leader. Implemented a performance management program, developing training programs and initiatives to address defined shortfalls in capability and process, and to instil pride and self belief into staff.  Downsized and streamlined to consolidate a newly appointed executive team to take over operational management, as well as revamping Sales Partner and Distribution Channels to facilitate a focus on growth.

Team Simoco Ltd. is the former name of Simoco Group. I was appointed to boost major accounts revenues and tasked to infuse a new delivery culture from a reinvigorated commercial department. Deputised for the Managing Director, managed the global Customer Support Team, and spearheaded key account management activities and business strategy formulation. Monitored the interface between sales and engineering, and instituted a customer service that significantly improved client engagement. Sparked a total transformation with centralised commercial operations and unique sales and distribution strategies devised to focus on growth.

Independent consultant for the FE/HE sector

Managed a team of four network planners responsible for the support of the internal Post Office Communications Network called "POSTLINE". This included the day to day management of voice and data connections to the system together with planning new site connections, project managing new system installations and planning future network topology.

Served a four year engineering apprenticeship with GPT (Formerly Plessey Office Systems Limited and graduated in September 1985. Then took on a number of roles within GPT from production methods engineer through to pre-sales support. Prior to leaving was responsible for the hardware and software configuration of the ISDX suite of telephone systems.
