We are a multi-disciplinary firm offering a complete package of engineering and project management services to a diverse client base representing a broad range of industry sectors.The Operations Manager's role is focused on enhancing the business operations and capability of the Group to ensure that the businesses are profitable, sustainable and well positioned for ongoing growth. The role is divided into three main areas of work:• People and Culture;• Business operations, process maintenance, development, improvement and implementation;• Specific business development projectsIn short, the Operations Manager is to successfully manage the day to day non-technical operations of the business to meet the financial, time frame, specification, team development and system/processes objectives of the business.
Manager, Learning And Capability
I learned a lot from this role and my time at Endeavour Foundation. At the time, Endeavour Foundation was a large and complex organisation going through a time of significant change, both from a market pressure (NDIS) and an internal culture perspective. I had many great mentors during my time and was able to build strong capabilities in learning and development, leadership, people and culture creation, organisational strategy, process and system implementation and business strategy. I will never underestimate how important my 10 years with Endeavour Foundation was and the growth I achieved under the guidance of many great people and the awesome friends i made along the way!As Endeavor Foundation undertook significant progression as an organisation in an industry experiencing strong disruption through the NDIS, the Learning and Capability team was responsible for ensuring that our people were positioned to respond to the needs and requirements of our customers. Driven by the organisational workforce development strategy the Leaning and Capability team provided ongoing learning and development activities and internal customer support including assistance with professional development, capability gap assessment, workforce analysis and development, as well as learning program design and delivery. The L&C team also supported staff induction and recruitment, investigations, projects and new business system integration and delivery. In the role I reported directly to the General Manager People, Learning and Culture with sole responsibility for the achievements and outcomes of the 9 person team.
Manager, Endeavour Business College - Endeavour Foundation
The highlight of my time with Endeavour Foundation! I look back now on this time as one of immense personal and organisational growth. We achieved some incredible learning outcomes and provided formal learning opportunities to many people both within and external to the organisation.Endeavour Business College (EBC) was an organisational development and learning group operating within the Endeavour Foundation. EBC delivered accredited training, non-accredited training and whole of workforce development strategies to internal and external customers. This includes seeking access to government funding, delivery and brokerage of over 20 differant qualifications in over 40 locations throughout QLD, NSW, A.C.T and Victoria. In addition to training and development activities EBC provided internal customer support including assistance with professional development, staff induction and recruitment, merger and due diligence processes, investigations, projects and IR training and issues. After commencing with EBC during its inception in early 2010 as a trainer, I had the opportunity to progress to the role of Manager of the Endeavour Business College. In this role I reported directly to the General Manager HR & OD with sole responsibility for the achievements and outcomes of the 15 strong team as well as the ongoing financial, compliance and strategic success of EBC and the associated RTO.
