So you can find what you need without worrying about the process.● Chose the tech stack and software architecture for Afterword, which is an AI based knowledgemanagement and summarization application.● Built the backend and frontend of the application singlehandedly using FastAPI, Sveltekit and MongoDB● Created the Chrome Extension using CRXJS and Svelte; compliant with Manifest V3● Handled the dockerization and deployment to cloud (GCP, Azure and Vercel)● Used Server Sent Events (SSE) to periodically send updates and data to the users to improve theirexperience by countering the slow response from LLMs● Created an in-house user authentication system using JWT, secure server side cookies to prevent XSS andCSRF attacks, password encryption and sending HTML emails for verification● Created in-house analytics to track user location, device, browser, origination (referrer), landing page andother attributes to track bounce and conversion● Integrated the product with Google Drive and Pocket● Added Paddle as a payment gateway/Merchant of Record for subscriptions, making Afterword compliantwith sales tax and currencies in over 200 countries

I led the revamp of our ERP software, a project that had initially been outsourced. Quickly recognizing the software's shortcomings due to an inadequate tech stack chosen prior to my tenure, I took swift action to steer the project in the right direction.Faced with an early release that was marred by bugs and performance issues, I spearheaded troubleshooting and optimization efforts alongside a small but dedicated development team. Through a meticulous approach to root-cause analysis and code review, we eliminated critical bugs and drastically improved load times, boosting page speeds from 5 seconds to under one second in key areas.Beyond mere bug-fixing, I instigated a transformative migration and implemented best practices that greatly enhanced the software's overall performance, user interface, and user experience. I also proactively managed feature enhancements and successfully navigated the complexities of a major tax overhaul, ensuring seamless invoice generation.Although resources were limited, my vision for the project never wavered. I took a hands-on approach to every aspect of development, from high-level strategic decisions down to line-level code reviews. Despite the challenges, my team and I turned a struggling project into a streamlined and efficient ERP solution.
