Third Rail (Conductor Rail) installation works which includes: Bracket support Installation, Third Rail Fixing, Splicing, Mid-Point anchoring, Expansion Joint (EJ), Insulated Joint (IJ), Ramp and Power Feed Installation. 750V DC Stinger System. - Supervision and witnessing of installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance activities of Auxiliary Sub-station which includes: 33KV Air & Gas Insulated Switchgear units, 33/0.415 KV Dry Type Auxiliary Transformers, Battery Bank, Battery Charger, ACDB and DCDB. - Supervision and witnessing of installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance activities of 110KV Gas Insulated Receiving Sub-station which includes: 110/33KV Power Transformer’s, 110KV & 33KV Gas Insulated Switchgear, Automatic Voltage Regulator(AVR), Metering Bay, Bay Control and Relay Panels. - Review the testing procedure documents, Sectioning Documents, Energisation/De- Energisation procedure documents, GFC, LOP and Maintenance work instructions. - Prepared DC Traction Manuals and Master Maintenance Schedule’s with reference of vendor documents. - Maintaining the 750V DC Traction System as per the Master Maintenance Schedule for both preventive and corrective maintenance. - Prepared Maintenance Checklist for various equipment’s based on vendor documents for preventive maintenance activities. - Planned and procured spares, tools, consumables and other materials needed for O&M. - Regarding the Maintenance activities, coordinating with Operations team for getting prior Power Block. Attention of Breakdown’s during unusual Occurrence of Traction System.

- Maintenance & commissioning of Over Head equipment and Traction Substation for traction system 21.6 MVA, 110/25 KV.- Document preparation of various traction equipment’s (OHE/PSI) for the approval of Electrical Inspector to the Government of India- Assisting for various EIG, CRS & other inspection pertaining to Railway Electrification & Traction distribution systems in Southern Railways.- In Preparing and coordinating various operational & maintenance activities related to Traction department in all divisions under Southern Railways- Witnessing of Testing & Commissioning of 25 kV Interrupter/Potential transformer/ Lighting arrester.- Reviewing and certifying Testing Procedure, Energisation & De-Energisation procedure documents.- Execution of foundation casting works, Mast erection (Manual), to ensure the work as per drawing and safe running of trains at the work locations.- Execution of mast grouting to ensure correct setting distance /embedded lengths.- Organizing the OHE wiring activities (manual/Wiring deck) in coordination with on duty Station Masters/Traffic controller.- Arranging Traffic/Power blocks for the contractor staff working for OHE wiring/Mast Erection.- Foot patrolling, Tower car inspection of turn outs, Cross overs & Section Insulators, Current collection checking.- Inspection of Traction substation works in progress.- Provision of communication to the working teams in between sections to facilitate safe working.- Involving various activities of SP/SSP’s works.- Attention of Breakdowns during unusual occurrence of Traction System
