About Anele Mazibuko

As a dedicated marketing professional with a BCom in Marketing and Human Resources from Wits, my career has been shaped by a deep passion for marketing and a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth. My journey began in corporate settings such as Bidvest, and through experiences in small boutique marketing agencies, I honed my expertise in client services, events management, and production. In 2020, amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, I discovered my fervor for the entrepreneurial sector through a volunteer role with Delivast, an emerging e-commerce delivery platform. This position allowed me to dive into digital marketing, stakeholder relations, and influencer marketing. My efforts secured influencer partnerships across South Africa's major cities and garnered media features in Disrupt Africa and Daily Maverick.Currently, I serve as a Programme Administrator for Women Enabled Enterprises, an organization committed to empowering women of colour in the makers industry across Africa. Since our inception in 2020, we have successfully run virtual programmes for over 400 women, facilitated the launch of 50 women's products on our US e-commerce platform, and opened doors to international markets. My responsibilities encompass programme coordination, stakeholder relations, and fundraising initiatives, all aimed at creating access and opportunities for our talented artisans.
