­Women Enabled Enterprises is an NGO based in California that serves woman entrepreneurs of colour based in South Africa through a virtual 12-week business training incubator my duties include:Administration­- Assisting with the recruitment of women entrepreneurs and ensuring that they meet programme criteria. ­-Coordinating Artisan interviews via Zoom.- Facilitating weekly Zoom sessions of between 50 - 100 women across the following countries, South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya and Lesotho.- Communicating program deliverables and ensuring that beneficiaries are informed about program requirements.- Supporting our beneficiaries with onboarding onto the Centro App and trouble shooting an queries with the Centro support team.- Identifying and securing suitable weekly guest speakers for the programme curriculum.Marketing ­- Creating engaging content on Canva for our social media pages and amplifying the work that we do. ­- Responding to follower comments and queries. ­- Creating email marketing campaigns using WIX and distributing these to our email subscribers. ­- Updating the WIX website and ensuring that it remains up to date. - Secured features in The Star, Soweto TV, Inanda Fm and Energy Fm radio.Strategic Partnerships ­- Partnering with industry finance professionals to assess the business plans of our beneficiaries in preparation for their pitches for funding. - Securing program facilitators such as Lebo Lion as a Social Media guest trainer, secured Liz Letsoalo of Masodi Organics, Olwethu of Nakolwethu Sunscreen and Ancillar Nombewu curator of the Forbes 30 under 30 as guest speakers for our programme sessions. - Identifying impact investors that have an interest in Women Empowerment and investing in the businesses of African women. I secured two investment organisations, Phagama Capital and Humelela Capital. Phagama Capital issued funding to the value of 80k that was distributed amoungst 5 of our entrepreneurs that fit their criteria.

I worked as a Social Media Apprentice for Delivast, a new online delivery platform that focuses on delivering groceries and other essential goods. My role includes the following: - ­Setting up their social media pages which includes Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. - ­Creating content on Canva to be published on their social media pages. ­- Publishing content on the different social media pages. ­- Responding to follower comments and queries. ­- Creating and publishing job listings on Facebook and setting auto responses for these. ­- Creating campaigns on MailChimp and setting them up correctly for email distribution. ­- Researching Facebook and Instagram Ads, and compiling costings for these. ­- Identifying suitable Influencers that fit our target market across the four regions of operation. ­- Drafting Influencer Collaboration Agreement forms and sending these out to secured Influencers. ­- Compiling a Press Release and distributing this out to potential online and offline publications. ­- Updating our WordPress blog content and identifying suitable topics and content to be published on the blog. ✓ Organising and attending meetings, and ensuring that the directors are well prepared for meetings.✓ Assisting in the execution of events, sourcing venue options, conducting site visits and taking photos/videos of venues for internal mock-ups.✓ Setting up at events and ensuring that all event details are to the client’s requirements (invites, name tags, point of sale, catering, entertainment etc.).✓ Compiling media drops for PR to stimulate publicity for client campaigns such as Unikitty, Craig of the creek and Cartoon Network “Pop up party”. ✓ Facilitating the execution of point of sale for agency campaigns, finding suitable suppliers, sourcing quotes and maintaining consistent communication throughout production to ensure that point of sale is executed correctly.✓ Consolidating campaign costings onto excel for Managing Director to conduct cost comparisons.✓ Facilitating shoots by sourcing suitable studios, compiling call sheets and maintaining housekeeping during shoots.✓ Arranging fixers for international shoots and liaising with them with regards to the “look and feel”, props as well as cast members for the shoot. ✓ Facilitating the recordings between Kwese TV and Produce Sound, booking studio time and serving as a broker between the two parties.✓ Arranging for the recording of voice overs for TV and Radio, identifying suitable voices based on client briefs, ensuring that the voice is provided with a script and that the recording is per the client’s requirements.✓ Compiling client gifts and sending these out.✓ Performing monthly recons of agency petty cash spend and reconciling on excel for MD.

✓ Initiating the first CSI project for Lithotech, we donated school furniture to a school in Braamfischer. ✓ Responsible for the internal communication through the Bidpaper✓ Post newspaper, my responsibilities include the following:✓ Liaising with the different branches, regarding submissions of images as well as editing write-ups.✓ Liaising with different printing companies on identifying printing options for the re-launch of the internal newspaper.✓ Tracking the monthly spend of the marketing department.✓ Managing Point of sale material and ensuring that it is distributed accordingly.✓ Typing out minutes.✓ Assisting with administrative duties✓ Write-ups for the Bidpaper Post (internal newspaper) as well as editing the Bidpaper Post.✓ Assisting on the Cashbuild and Sausage Saloon account, placing orders, providing customers with etas and replenishing stock when the need arises.

Assisting the brand manager in growing the NewellRuberMaid brands which include Waterman, Parker, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Rotring and Rolodex.My role consists of the following:Tracking the monthly spend of each brand.Liaising with various publishers on ways to improve brand awareness within their space.Assisting the brand manager in preparing for brand related events.Inventory control.Ensuring that new products are loaded onto our database accurately.
