At AWS, I had the opportunity to work on one of the largest networks in the world, consisting of over a million network devices interconnected through tens of millions of links. My team and I were responsible for building our own network devices and software control systems, taking complete control of the optics, software, and hardware development ecosystem to secure connectivity, reduce cost, and improve availability for all customers.I worked with amazing people while leading, building, and growing multiple services, organizations, and businesses during my time at AWS. Most recently, I led the organization that owned the custom network platform hardware and software. This included co-developing optical modules, cables, and building the network operating system and software protocol stack to deliver the performance and efficiency benefits of the latest silicon and optical connectivity innovations to our customers. Prior to that, I built and led the eXternal Network Services (XNS) organization. The XNS team monitored the internet, provided Direct Connectivity to customers, and built Traffic Engineering Controllers that steer traffic on the Border and Backbone Network.

We developed a working design, software and IP. Little over a year into the journey Marvell acquired D5 Networks.After the acquisition of D5 Networks, we productized and commercialized D5 technology. The team executed flawlessly winning multiple, multi-million dollar designs through 2008 downturn.+ Grew the business to $70MM run rate in 3 years after acquisition+ Achieved the #1 market share in MACSec After I left Marvell, some of my team members moved on to found XPliant and sold it to Cavium Networks.

Catalyst 6000 was a $4B dollar a year flagship product line. + Worked as Technical Leader (2000 - 2005), ASIC Design Engineer (1998 - 2000)I started as a design engineer and over 7 years went through multiple roles, ultimately supporting the VP of engineering leading 150+ engineering organization as a Technical Leader. I drove multiple Switching and Security initiatives at Cat6K that later evolved into Cisco Trusted Security (CTS) and the Nexus 7000 platform. The Inventra Business Unit provided PCI and USB solutions to multiple silicon companies. I joined invetra business unit as Design Engineer and worked on designing the second generation 32b/33MHz PCI core with DMA support
