The biggest adventure of my life, thus far, joining the ASOT (Now EdTech team) and actually being the person teaching centres reported to and took guidance from for their staff quality assurance. Here I wore many, many hats, and loved all of them, I was responsible for:✔ Ideation, research, design, implementation, costing and review of online teaching services (Building new websites, Apps, training platforms, QA processes etc.)✔ Managing the QA and teacher performance for teachers in 10 global teaching centres (USA, UK, China, Indonesia, South Africa and freelance) ✔ Working closely with the BI teams to pull data from the classes and using statistical analysis to determine where improvements needed to happen and advising teaching centers on that.✔ Ensuring our teacher contracts were in line with local legislative restrictions✔ Running teacher satisfaction surveys and reports and communicating the impacts to teaching centers ✔ Running teacher engagement initiatives✔ Being involved in the full SLDC from scoping to go live to ensure that new products and releases were in line with business needs✔ Change management when new products and changes were released ✔ Training staff on new products✔ Ensuring a smooth user experience when new products were created✔ Online newsletters sent out to 10 000 staff members - every month✔ Working as the global webmaster to the online teaching platform using (Umbraco CMS)✔ Dealing with student & teacher complaints and the Salesforce teams ✔10 teaching centers & 2 QA teams in India reported to me on their performance weekly - that amounted to 4500 teachers - we improved our overall QA satisfaction score from a 3.2/5 to a 4.85/5 in 3 months through these initiatives.✔ In short, I had to take care of all the aspects of delivering a successful product and service to 100 000 annually and make sure that we were retaining great talent at the same time.
