About Aneta Grabmüller Soldati

I am a dedicated PhD candidate at the University of Bergen and Kristiania University College in Oslo. My research focuses on exploring the contribution of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to gender equality through media outlets. Prior my academic pursuits, I had a career as a professional triathlete spanning over 15 years. I proudly represented my country in numerous international events, achieving notable accomplishments such as winning the bronze medal in cross triathlon at the world championships. Additionally, I earned the titles of two-time junior world champion in winter triathlon and U23 world champion in cross triathlon.In 2021, I was selected as an IOC Young Leader. Through this prestigious program, I continue to demonstrate my passion for sports, gender equality, and drive positive change within the Olympic movement. With the support of the IOC Young Leaders program I have developed and launched a project 'Naplno' that aims aims to improve the well-being of athletes in the Czech Republic. I developed a science-based digital platform and run awareness-raising campaign about RED-S and disordered eating on social media.
