With extensive experience in the Voluntary Carbon Market, I’ve consulted on a variety of impactful projects, including afforestation, agriculture, and nature restoration, while advising governments on implementing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.Currently, I serve as Vice Chair of the Carbon Markets Association of Uganda and a Board Member of Next Media. My dedication to driving meaningful change has allowed me to speak at major global events such as COP27, COP29, the World Economic Forum, the Africa Climate Summit 2023, and New York Climate Week. These platforms provide opportunities to highlight carbon removal project development, nature-based solutions, and advocating for social co-benefits in carbon credit frameworks.As the co-founder of 1MTN, a pioneering company focused on high-quality carbon removal projects, I’m working toward restoring one million hectares of degraded land across Africa by 2030, improving ecosystems and generating socio-economic opportunities for local communities.I also represent 1MTN in the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerator and serve as the Ambassador of Nairobi for the Top Tier Impact Network, promoting Africa's potential and driving investment into transformative solutions.Splitting my time between Kampala, Tallinn, Riga, and Nairobi, I continue to push for positive environmental and social impact through climate law and sustainable development.
