Leading a treasury team of 11 team members based in Korea, Norway and USA, reporting to the CFO. The team is responsible for the global logistics company’s cash management (USD 5bn revenue), equity and debt management (NOK 40bn market cap, USD 3.8bn debt) and financial risk management including emission trading rights.

From 2020 to 2023 I was responsible for investor relations in addition to global treasury, in close collaboration with top management and the board. The role included contact with local and international investors, road shows, quarterly reporting and compliance with regulations. I chose to hand over the IR role to a dedicated new hire, to focus on leading the treasury team.

Relationship manager for Nordic shipping clients, covering clients’ strategic and daily financial needs. Led client teams, coordinating in-house product specialists and support teams as well as the internal credit process. Key tasks included client interaction on the CFO level, originating, structuring and documenting debt facilities and other financial products. The team was successful, consistently delivering high returns and customer satisfaction.

I joined DNB as a maritime trainee in 2009. I worked with shipping and offshore clients in Oslo, Hamburg and New York, developing expertise in shipping finance, complex credit analysis and structured financing. My final role was as a relationship manager for Norwegian and Northern European shipping clients.
