A business leader, inventor, investor, and proud father. Passionate about growing companies, helping others, and building new businesses.History: Grew up in San Diego, went East for undergrad (MIT; EECS & Management Science) and stayed for ~12 years. My career started with a 5-year stint in strategy consulting (Mars) leading engagements to transform supply chain & competitive positioning for Fortune 50 companies. While earning an MBA (Wharton), I returned to technology as an Associate at Genacast Ventures, evaluating and advising early-stage companies. The experience inspired me to embark on my own journey into digital health (starting AdhereTech & Yealthy). Yealthy was accepted into the Y Combinator program and raised a seed round, but ultimately failed to gain sufficient traction. I joined friends at Rev.com, a labor marketplace (& now AI) startup, leading teams in product, growth and sales. I was responsible for several of the company's largest new services and market entries. My teams launched several new tools, service lines, and brands including Temi - our speech recognition service. On the side, I advise, invest, and help build the local ecosystem through our non-profit Startup San Diego. Outside professional passions, I love to play games, travel, dance, ski, watch interesting films, tell stories, wax philosophical, eat good food and try new things.
