Partial description of duties includes:As a Senior Training Specialist, upon completion of the classes, I reviewed students’ written evaluations and wrote a comprehensive, 6-page evaluation report. In each report I captured what went well, whether learning objectives were met, highlights of training, and recommendations to improve future training.As course manager for a new training program for PPQ’s Experienced Supervisors’, Iconducted a needs analysis (written survey of employees and supervisors, phone interviews with managers, review of position descriptions). Based upon the performance gaps evident in my analysis, I then designed, developed, monitored, and evaluated a curriculum that matched learning with performance needs.I delivered, monitored, and evaluated these courses: Managing Change and Transition for DHS-CBP employees (15 deliveries of a 1-day class), 360-degree assessments (4 deliveries of a 2-hour class), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (4 deliveries of a 6-hour class), Team Building (2 deliveries of a 1-day class), and Team Coaching (2 deliveries of a 1-day class).I coached a team of 6, mid-level leaders being groomed for senior leadership positions within our organization. I coached them for 1 year, monitoring all training attended by these 6 individuals, providing coaching for 2 hours per month for each individual and 1 hour per month for the team. We began the year setting competency-based goals for their advancement and increased mastery of leadership skills. Each coaching session measured progress and supported individuals and the team toward organizational and individual goals. At the end of 1 year, 2 of the 6 employees I coached had earned promotions, and in one instance, their supervisor directly related the benefits of coaching to the employee’s promotion.Please inquire about complete list of duties for this position.
