International Coach Federation (ICF) awards CertificationAnne Kelly, Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and founder of A New Leaf Coaching, was awarded 40 hours of continuing education units in ICF Core Competencies to extend her current PCC status to December 2022.Anne successfully completed the 3-month Deeper Conversations CCE Course during which she had the opportunity to coach and to receive master level mentor coaching.

The Veterans Administration holds a very special place in my heart and in my family's history, so it is with pleasure that through Higher Echelon, I now provide coaching to ten executives at the Veterans Benefits Administration. This is the newest contract for me and while I am proud to serve all my federal clients, the VA is special. It was my father's employer for decades, provides essential services to my wonderful husband, to my two veteran step-sons, and the many, many friends I made while working for DOD for 20 years! SUCH an important mission!

Our group attracted enthusiastic and inspired coaches, facilitators, parents, leaders, and teachers. Our free monthly meetings focused on the creation of a safe and celebratory environment, and the accelerated learning that is the result of affirmative inquiry, positive focus, and specifically the Inspired Learning Model™. As the Lead Training Instructor I was the team leader for fellow instructors, administrative staff and contract instructors involved in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of a course that prepares park service employees to fulfill their role in the mission of the National Park Service.I was responsible for planning and oversight of a 4-day National Park Service course available to all new Park Service employees. The course that I led was a 40-hour curriculum entitled “Trust, Teambuilding and Leadership”.

Partial description of duties includes:As a Senior Training Specialist, upon completion of the classes, I reviewed students’ written evaluations and wrote a comprehensive, 6-page evaluation report. In each report I captured what went well, whether learning objectives were met, highlights of training, and recommendations to improve future training.As course manager for a new training program for PPQ’s Experienced Supervisors’, Iconducted a needs analysis (written survey of employees and supervisors, phone interviews with managers, review of position descriptions). Based upon the performance gaps evident in my analysis, I then designed, developed, monitored, and evaluated a curriculum that matched learning with performance needs.I delivered, monitored, and evaluated these courses: Managing Change and Transition for DHS-CBP employees (15 deliveries of a 1-day class), 360-degree assessments (4 deliveries of a 2-hour class), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (4 deliveries of a 6-hour class), Team Building (2 deliveries of a 1-day class), and Team Coaching (2 deliveries of a 1-day class).I coached a team of 6, mid-level leaders being groomed for senior leadership positions within our organization. I coached them for 1 year, monitoring all training attended by these 6 individuals, providing coaching for 2 hours per month for each individual and 1 hour per month for the team. We began the year setting competency-based goals for their advancement and increased mastery of leadership skills. Each coaching session measured progress and supported individuals and the team toward organizational and individual goals. At the end of 1 year, 2 of the 6 employees I coached had earned promotions, and in one instance, their supervisor directly related the benefits of coaching to the employee’s promotion.Please inquire about complete list of duties for this position.
