Hello. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that you’re not a robot. You see, we’re living in a world where automation, globalisation, big corporations, sameness and visual saturation are expanding at record speed, and with that chaos we’re all being replaced by machines or turning into them. Oddly enough, there’s a group of humans whose majority chose to turn themselves into robots: graphical designers. They did so because they thought that it was the only purpose they could ever have, and since that, they don’t realise that they’re becoming a tool, a fraction of a machine which only intention is to sell junk. The funny thing is that you’re reading the words of a graphical designer, one that’s trying not to become a robot. With all of this said, I got good news for you: it’s very likely that you have something that we could work on together, as most people today don’t know the real nature and importance of our profession, or they do, but they can’t find someone who fits in their plans. I really love what I do, and one of the very things that make me love it is the act of giving birth to ideas along with other people. So I hope everyone whom I work with to be both participative andperceptive, to give each idea the attention it deserves and give everything it comes from his/her mind to it. Being that so, I hope that we have fun in this world of machines working playfully in whateverwe’ve committed to, so we prove to this planet that there are still humans willing to build, and not just robots hammering their ideas into trivialness.
