I am an Associate at Macquarie Group's Financial Management Group, where I apply my MBA in Corporate Finance and Business Analytics from Pace University, New York. I joined Macquarie in February 2024, after completing a successful internship with them in the summer of 2023. During my internship, I implemented a comprehensive project to enhance workbooks for balance sheet accounts reconciliation, resulting in increased efficiency in financial reporting. I also compiled and reviewed financial statements for various entities according to the local GAAP standards, and consolidated and analyzed large data sets using excel. Additionally, I gained proficiency in using Oracle Fusion system for journal preparation, posting and reports extraction. Prior to Macquarie, I held a part-time position as a bookkeeper at an Art Gallery in New York, where I managed 10+ business bank accounts, generated invoices and receipts, paid vendor bills, and updated sales tax and participation in earnings registers. I also interned at a CPA firm in New York, where I assisted with tax preparation and bookkeeping tasks. I have a strong background in accounting, finance and analytics, with skills in QuickBooks, communication and time management. I also have a Bloomberg Market Concepts Certification, which demonstrates my knowledge of the financial markets. I am passionate about learning new technologies and tools, and I enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. My goal is to contribute to Macquarie's growth and success by leveraging my education and experience.
