Summer internship position at Zenith Pacific allowed me to see how project meetings and duties are delegated for various projects in a professional manner. Duties included:Assisting tradesmen with daily projects including testing of the generators and power units with the use of a dynamometer.Assisted in repair as well as regular maintenance checks replacing batteries and performing tests on large diesel gen-sets, learning how the power units function.Using sandblasters and corrosive paints to clean framework, bolts and housings, where safety and risk assessment were high priority.Being exposed to the professional practice of regular operator meetings that assess the progress of each task.Adapting to a challenging new workplace carrying a willingness to learn and ask questions.
