Global leadership role focused on growing and developing the Appirio-Alight Workday practice in the Australia/NZ region. Provided end to end delivery governance and leadership by leveraging our global best practices while staying nimble to promote a rapidly growing regional Workday practice. Oversaw the sales, marketing/alliances and delivery functions across the local consulting practice which grew to a $5 million business across several new local clients. The Appirio Workday practice was acquired by Alight Solutions in early 2019, a global Workday HCM & Financials deployment and services partner. My role was to ensure a smooth transition for the Appirio practice/team and provide continued delivery oversight and sales/business development support to the local Alight leadership team ahead of my planned return to the states following the completion of my Expatriate role/contract.

Responsible for leading several large-scale global Workday deployments and HR Transformation programs. Accountability for a portfolio of regionally aligned accounts to ensure customer success. Also served as a liaison between Appirio and Workday while actively supporting sales activities for consulting services and post production support on Workday implementations

Successfully managed and delivered several global Workday implementations that have helped organizations move from disparate and manual HR/Payroll systems to a best in class, cloud based enterprise solution that Workday provides. From program and executive stakeholder management to change and post-production management, I have done it all.

Led a divisional program management office (PMO) responsible for planning, resourcing and delivering key projects and products that support the business unit’s strategic plan. Oversaw 3-4 projects at any given time, while working closely with individual project managers to ensure appropriate governance, controls and driving successful executionAs part of the PMO, supported the senior leadership team to analyze and facilitate development, prioritization and buy-in for a multi-year US housing/mortgage market strategic plan aiming to provide over $1 Billion of credit loss savingsOversaw the implementation of a $2M Human Capital and Project Management solution (Planview) covering a resource pool of 2000 employees across a $375M transformation portfolio. Resulted in more than $5 million of annual efficiency savings. Acted as a change champion for the Enterprise HCM platform (Workday) roll-out to the organization.

Facilitated the annual IT strategy planning and business case development process, through extensive collaboration and strong client relationship management as the primary intermediary between technical and business area teamsGuided implementation and adoption of a complex Microsoft .NET application platform with multiple third-party vendor teams that enabled standardized development methodologies and significant annual support cost savings.Managed a team of 6 analysts across an enterprise-wide business process review and system rationalization program. Resulted in approval and implementation of five initiatives delivering over $3M in annual operating benefits

Led a multi-release SDLC project and change team to deliver a consolidated and customized human resources information management system (HRMS) that supported over 2000 corporate employees across 5 countriesExecuted and enterprise wide change management and training program to support deployment of the first national multi-period Oracle Financials system serving over 3300 employeesImplemented a national supply chain planning system driving more accurate planning and forecasting resulting in estimated cost savings of over $2 million annually and leading to firm-wide delivery excellence award nomination

Developed and fostered strong client/business relationships through effectively interpreting and translating business requirements into technical specifications and becoming an “expert” for key functional areasExtensive process design re-engineering experience through mapping existing (as-is) and developing future (to-be) functional and technical architectures of the system Management and supervision of teams of up to 5 analyst/developers, overseeing the design and build efforts.
