If I had to choose one word to describe the person I am today and the life I continue to build, it would undoubtedly be “committed”. Much more than just academic growth, I believe in commitment to one’s profesional, personal and civil’s development. As to how I have invested my energy and drive in the past years, not only have I focused on expanding my fields of study with the integration of various social and natural sciences, but I have been involved in devoted and hardworking organizations that aim to positively impact disadvantaged sectors of our society. In addition, experiences like advocating for student’s rights and addressing their concerns by being part of representative bodies within the University of Puerto Rico were very influential for me in acquiring essential skills for the future. Throughout the years, I have committed to contribute towards social justice for vulnerable communities such as the neurodivergent, diversely abled, black descent, LGBTQIA+ and women as an ally.As of now, I am a graduate student of the Doctor in Law (JD) & Master in Public Administration Joint Program at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. My main focus is to open myself to experiences that will help me absorb the knowledge and forge the expertise I need in order to become a remarkable lawyer, public administrator and citizen. With commitment to our society’s tomorrow, I strive to help those in need and empower those who face injustice in their daily lives.
