As the program coordinator at VTR Uniforms I continued to assist in retail, while taking on the responsibility of coordinating the uniform programs for our largest clients. I helped individual employees select clothing and fill out order forms. I thoroughly entered these orders into our software, coordinated the pulling of product from inventory, and purchasing of the product from vendors. I received the product from vendors for the orders and coordinated production (embroidery, screen printing, alterations). After this process was completed I packed the order, contacted the customer and invoiced the client for payment.

As a retail associate I am responsible for attentively taking customer orders through in-person and email communication. These orders may include alterations, ordering product, screen printing, embroidery, and/or heat press application. Product knowledge and service knowledge is key to successfully maintaining these customer relationships. Additional responsibilities include maintaining store appearance, notifying superiors when stocked product is low, opening and closing the store on a regular basis, and answering the phones. On occasion I am also responsible for patiently resolving customer complaints and discrepancies to the best of my ability, and knowing when to pass the situation to my superiors.

While assisting the activity coordinator I was actively involved in coordinating and implementing at least two daily activities for residents, creatively assisting in the creation of monthly calendars and newsletters, as well as enthusiastically visiting with residents in a one-on-one or small group setting. In addition I patiently provided assistance on group and individual outings; helping find products, boarding the bus, and assisting travel through stores.
