I am now working as a Whole House Provider in Long term care. I never thought that I would be doing something like this! I enjoy working with the residents and taking care of their needs. Our goal is to keep them at the Centers and decrease ER visits. It has been rewarding, heart breaking, and changelling to say the least. I am lucky that I get to work with great people at the facilities where I work.I was a nurse practitioner at a family practice clinic for approixmetly 6 years. I worked as an NP at SRMC for awhile. I began my nursing career as a ward clerk at SMH in the ER. When I finished nursing school, I continued to work as an RN at SRMC. I also have achieved Mobile Critical Care Nurse certifications. I began working as an NP in 2015 when I left the hospital. I also have a masters in Nursing Education. I love teaching classes and hold several instructor certifications. Books are my passion, I currently love to read and do ARC reviews for authors. I also have taken a book editor course for certification. I have been referred to as a "professional student." I love to learn new things and hope to continue broadening my knowledge to other aspects in my career.
