About Angel Layer

I am an experienced project and product manager with expertise in UK Higher Education Institutions. I have worked in the sector for over 6 years and currently work at Quacquarelli Symonds as a Product Manager for their Analytics tools.At QS, I look work to enhance a range of our analytics products and make them even better for our clients in the Higher Education sector. I am responsible for taking ideas and helping them come to life through our products. Over my 7 years in the sector, I have completed key strategic projects with notable success including the launch of a Student Enquiry Management project at the University of Roehampton, resulting in a new centralised team who lead the university's front line enquiry support and prior to that managing the operational delivery of the university's Covid-19 response.In addition to my project and product management skills, I am skilled at preparing briefings, speeches and reports for senior managers. I am well versed in policy developments related to the Higher Education sector and use this to enhance the approach I take to project and product management. Beyond my professional experience, I am a keen volunteer. Over the last two years, I have been trained and volunteer regularly as a Wandsworth Independent Visitor – supporting children in care. I was previously a girl guide leader, and have also volunteered supporting those who were shielding during the pandemic.I am keen to connect with colleagues both in the sector but also project and product management professionals and explore how we can work together.
