➢ Assists with Special Events: Plan and execute annual public relations and marketing activities to support the business objectives of the hotel. Distributing press releases, event invitations or requested photos, brochures or other materials. Tracks invitation RSVPs and follows up with people to make sure their materials were received.➢ Maintains Media Relationships: Promote brand awareness on the national and local levels by communicating through various media and introducing new advertising and promotional plans to Increase market share and media coverage. Coordinating with media to provide them with required information, assisting in media planning, and ensuring proper media placement. Have active list of media representatives who need to be informed of the hotel's news and events, whether they've refurbished guest rooms, hired a new chef or are hosting a national convention. Regularly pitches story ideas to them to keep the hotel in the news, arranges press interviews and responds to requests from the press.➢ Handles External Materials: Manage internal communications and marketing budgets. Working with other departments to helps the PR director highlight the hotel's positive news. keeps photos, releases and other materials on file for publicity.➢ Keeps a file of all press releases. Work with the hotel's website development team to post press releases, articles, and other marketing information on the website.

➢ Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.➢ Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.➢ Develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.➢ Manage communications budgets.➢ Manage special events such as sponsorship of races, parties introducing new products, or other activities the firm supports in order to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.➢ Draft speeches for company executives, and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them.➢ Assign, supervise and review the activities of public relations staff.➢ Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.➢ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.
