Peer mentor specialising in academic skills and business students advice. Working in foundation year classes up to level 5 as support staff as well as running 1-1 mentor sessions with students leading up to assignment deadlines.

Staff attending recruitment fairs and university promotion nationwide across UCAS, UKUNI fairs and more. Role includes travelling around the country and speaking to hundreds of students at each event informing them about university and promoting LTU independently and in small groups.

In this role I attend events such as careers fairs, mock interviews and guidance events with hundreds of attendees independently as an ambassador for the schools, colleges recruitment team travelling across the country to host events and help students thrive. For each event I must coordinate transport and stall preparation to ensure a smooth flowing event.

This role includes giving tours to groups of visitors, setting up for events, running a welcome desk and attending recruitment fairs to market the university to prospective staff and students. This role has required me to be friendly, approachable, and confident to handle events where there can be up to 1,000 guests on site.

I offer a service to small business owners to aid with their social media, particularly on Facebook and Instagram. These services have included but are not limited to content planning, graphic creation using Canva, copywriting, page optimisation and video creation. I have worked with several businesses including a SEN secondary school, multiple holiday accommodations, an equestrian centre, a takeaway restaurant, a loneliness combating app and dog harness business.
