The position leads an information technology support team to provide application and operational support within local offices or remotely in Asia. My primary purpose is to provide full, daily management for assigned professional and support staff. It includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to satisfy department objectives. It is also my responsibility to ensure accomplishment of department responsibilities based on oversight from senior management, following established practices, organizational strategy, department guidelines, and within approved budget.

The company is basically the owner of Shakey's Philippines. My position allows me to handle the administrative function of the company's IT department. This also includes vendor management. In addition to this my position is also exposed on managing projects and conducting research for new solutions that will be implemented in the organization.

The company has given me the opportunity to develop my management and leadership skills. My position is expected to manage different departments in the school such as Marketing, Registrar, Faculty, Maintenance, Finance, Technical and Maintenance. This also requires communication with external organization specially in the government.

As a neophyte, Accenture Philippines was able to give me the best training environment in the IT industry. My work has given me an exposure on processing medical claims from a health company located abroad. This tasks requires, keen attention to detail skills as i have to validate details on the documents that the company are receiving. Later on, i was given an additional task in the management wherein, i have to create reports that will be presented to the outsourcing company. In addition to this, results should also be discussed with the team and apply necessary action. Monitoring of the plan of performance improvement of the team is also expected due to the management daily touch point.
