I am Angel, the CEO and founder of NutrixHabits, a highly-engaging platform offering intelligent nutrition recommendations combined with gamified challenges to motivate users with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and obesity reaching their healthy objectives.Indeed, decades of research show a strong correlation between ADHD and obesity –- so strong, in fact, that someone with ADHD is four times more likely to become obese than is someone without ADHD.I had eight years of experience in encompassing entrepreneurship and business management, teaching, clinical research within mental health, and executive management comprise the building blocks for the successful management of NutrixHabits. I am currently managing two thriving start-ups – #FITSQUAD and So Healthy Nutrition Lounge.I spent most of my early career surrounded by youth, this is where I first noticed that young adults of all backgrounds had minimal understanding of nutrition that later led to a number of health problems down the line. In addition, I grew up in a household of nutrition experts with both parents working the top nutrition companies in the world.Now with many years of experience in the nutrition supplement industry, I am collaborating with other nutrition & technology professionals to try to create a new tech solution — the NutrixHabits app, focused on solving a number of problems stemming from poor nutrition, particularly among young people and individuals with obesity and ADHD. I believe that can both engage young adults and create impactful change in their nutritional habits and help save health systems in the future.
