As a full stack developer, I worked on API documentation and development for the first few weeks of my internship. I used Spring Boot, REST Endpoints, Maven, Google Cloud, etc. Later, I also worked on implementing a room scanner for our company's mobile app. Specifically, I focused on analyzing the data getting from using the Apple's new API powered by ARKit, which can create a 3D floor plan of a room using camera and LiDAR of a device. My implementation facilitated other front-end programmers from my team by making them easier to obtain the necessary data. It also made our app more convenient for the customers to use.

As an intern in the ML team, I mainly focused on developing a chatbot that answer customers' legal related questions for the company's iOS app in Python. Specifically, I built a RAG based ChatBot in Python by embedding legal text documents to vectors and using Meta's FAISS similarity search to retrieve the relevant embeddings to answer customer's queries.

Our team worked on building an iOS app for the company. The app used the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture with View displaying the fronted to user, ViewModel serving as the intermediate agent for passing information between Model and View, and Model handling necessary logic and data. The app also have a “repository” module in ViewModel to handle communications with the database. We used Figma for our frontend design, which was then implemented under the SwiftUI framework in Xcode.The database we were using is Google’s Firebase. As a frontend engineer, I mainly focused on using Swift to implement the design in Figma on Xcode.

My team's project focused on using doppler spectroscopy to find binary systems with protoplanetary disks. Specifically, I worked on finding binary systems using an authorized unpublished dataset that contains stellar spectra of 28 young stars gathered using the APF at Penn State. I used the radial velocity method and pandas, xarray, and scipy.stats to deblaze the data and generate the models to analyze the movements of the stars.
