In this role, I have the opportunity to support and assist students with their education. I have the privilege to not only work in primary school classrooms but also work with and support students who have special needs. I am also a member of the school's Work Health and Safety Committee, which has helped me expand my knowledge and share the information I have learned in majoring in Occupational Health and Safety within my Health Science Bachelor at ECU.

In 2020 and 2021, I worked with another staff member at this organisation to run and implement a free community playgroup open to any family with young children who lived nearby. Implementing this weekly playgroup helped build the school community and opened up a space to connect parents and families in nearby suburbs with each other.
