I currently serve on the boards of Parkland Corporation (TSX: PKI) and TETRA Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TTI) where I provide governance and advice based on my broad energy experience, and my focus on commercial strategies for our clean energy future. I also serve on the University of Houston Gutierrez Energy Management Advisory Board and as a Membership Committee member for the Texas Tri-Cities Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors.My executive experience included creating commercial strategy, developing new businesses, establishing high performing teams, and growing profits at Global and Fortune 500 oil and gas companies.I am at my best when I am solving complex problems. I like to explore different perspectives and new technology. Early in my career I applied this skill to engineering problems at chemical facilities, then I moved to using the power of commercial deal-making to balance energy supply and demand on bp’s trade floors. In 2018, I pivoted to focus on commercial strategies to provide clean, affordable, and reliable energy at bp and then at Williams. I am known for focusing on the possibility for the future and having the courage to do something about it.
