Litigation Management:▪ Successfully managed environmental contamination arbitration resulting in $50 million award for CITGO.▪ Managed $200 million maritime bench trial in Pennsylvania federal court resulting in favorable ruling that CITGO owed no money to plaintiffs.▪ Managing attorney for breach of contract litigation against electricity provider resulting in $1 million settlement to CITGO.▪ Received $600,000 settlement on a counter-claim from marketer who initiated suit against company for breach of contract.▪ Currently manage over 1000 litigation claims for bodily injury and business loss related to oil spill.▪ Draft legal recommendations to General Counsel and business managers on litigation issues, including: case strategy, discovery issues, settlement recommendations, and cost management budget analysis.▪ Coordinate with outside counsel and business clients to develop, organize, and manage discovery responses and litigation strategies.▪ Advise Accounting Department on cost/liability reserves for litigation cases.
