Hired as: “Medicare Part B – Medical Claims Processor" then progressed to their Quality Control Unit 1st move: Became an “Assistant Rater” in “Commercial Lines Dept.”; progressing to “Rating Trainer” 2nd move: Became an "Underwriting Assistant” in Commercial Lines Underwriting; Rose to my final position as an "Account Manager" in "Select / Small Business"; managing my book of business from beginning to end: marketing, underwriting and quoting; as well as policy and endorsement issuance.  I continually increased the profitability of my book by upselling coverage and thoroughly underwriting risks to control losses and generate sufficient exposures.
