Providing Graphic Design and Web Design and management to Crosspath Church for their services and printing needs as well as for their online presence. This position involves weekly management of their graphics for their Sunday services both in person and online, as well as marketing of their community outreach events.

RN Nursing House Supervisor over Presbyterian Hospital Matthews (Novant Health). This is an 117 bed hospital with additional outpatient units such as an Endoscopy Unit, Cardio-Pulmonary Unit, Surgical Unit, as well as a 33 bed Emergency Department. In this job, I coordinated patient placement from the ED, Surgical Services, and direct admissions from Family Practice Doctors’ Offices. I also facilitated the proper placement of available staff on each shift between all units of the hospital. I made frequent rounds to all units of the hospital and make sure that the staff had the resources they need to provide excellent patient care to each of their patients.

RN staff nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Admit/Discharge Area of Presbyterian Hospital Matthews from February 2008 through November 2009. Since January 2009, I have worked as the Charge Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

This unit has 8 labor and delivery rooms as well as a 4 bed obstetric triage/observation unit. In addition to the labor and delivery unit, I also frequently worked on the 11 bed Antepartum Unit. Furthermore, since April 2007, I have been a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor for the unit.

RN staff nurse on the Labor and Delivery Unit of NorthEast Medical Center from June 2005 through November 2006. This unit has 13 labor and delivery rooms as well as a 6 bed obstetric triage/observation unit. In addition to the labor and delivery unit, I also worked PRN on the 5 bed High Risk OB/Antepartum Unit.

RN staff nurse on the Post-Surgical Care Unit of NorthEast Medical Center from October 18, 2004 through June 2005. This unit provided experiences with orthopedic patients, trauma patients, and neurosurgery patients

RN staff nurse on the Trauma and General Surgery Step-Down unit of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center from September 8, 2003 through March 2005 (after October 16, 2004 on a per diem basis). In addition to being a staff nurse, I also worked as a charge nurse at times on this unit.

While going to school full-time, I worked part-time at Technical Associates in the graphic design department. I worked alongside a very experienced graphic designer who took the opportunity to teach me how to use all the software to the best of my ability. I worked to update the graphics in the seminar literature as well as the graphics used in the classes.
