Completed graduate-level practicums in three unique settings: Martin Luther King Community Center (Indianapolis), Community Health Network - Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health (Indianapolis), and Caring Associates Counseling Group (Brownsburg, IN). Also completed semester-long service-learning project at Joy's House - Adult Day Services (Indianapolis).

Full-tuition graduate teaching assistantship in sociolgy. Led discussion groups for undergraduate Introduction to Sociology students. Occasionally lectured for professors. Planned activities and assignments, graded papers, maintained students records, held regular office hours, and met with supervisors.

Was part of a team of volunteers that traveled around the central U.S. for a year, after I graduated college. We assisted non-profits with various projects, including building Habitat for Humanity homes, installing IMBA mountain biking trails, readying both a Girl Scouts camp and a church camp for summer campers and staff, packing boxes with non-perishables at a food bank, and assisting low-income taxpayers with returns through VITA.
