As a Designer I collaborate with our Product Development and Merchant teams to create trend right product for Michael's exclusive Private Brands. Product Design Overview • Utilizes design technical skills in Photoshop & Illustrator to create designs, illustrations, and piece types that represent the target customer and are aligned with brand direction.• Translates conceptual inspiration into product, patterns, icons, and typography to support core businesses and brand development.• Collaborates with internal Trend Team to create original pattern and icons to support company seasonal trends.• Creates and executes production artwork & technical spec packs for new product concepts.• Maintains comprehensive understanding of target customer and current Michaels category assortments.• Reports trend observations by shopping and navigating both store and online resources to identify new product opportunities.• Builds style guides & inspiration guides to support new concept development.• Collaborates with Product Manager to prepare/deliver new concepts for project kickoff meetings with business partners.• Attends sample reviews and provides design execution feedback for Product Manager and Category Manager (Buyer) partners.• Responsible for all key calendar and milestone design deliverables• Travels domestically to attend trade-shows or internationally for product development when applicable.• Provides support on special projects, initiatives, and other tasks as needed

At Rebel I am the Creative Designer for over 500 Gyms/Accounts and this number grows daily. Below is a description of my responsibilities. -Designing custom uniforms, graphics, and logos for customers-Creating Tech Packs for each uniform -Creating Print Files for Dye Sublimated designs -Rendering Artwork-Working with Sales Representatives to offer the best quality of service to customers-Researching customer's Gym styles and their preferences-Trend Analysis-Creating Designs for upcoming Lookbooks -Holding Live Design sessions with Customers, both in person and on Skype confrences. -Traveling to represent Rebel Athletics at events and conferences-Assisting QC when needed; ie re-crystaling uniforms, examining product-Utilizing Salesforce and Chatter to manage accounts and company communication

-Creating Designs for upcoming season-Revamping designs from previous seasons-Drafting patterns, both first and final-Overseeing production-Creating and implementing Direction Cards-Trend analysis
