As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Angela was responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring systems and processes to support Oryx’s goals. She reported to the Managing Directors/Board on the ongoing business operations of all Oryx aged care and retirement village accommodation and care services and also coordinated with the Executive and Senior Management team to lead the ramp up and commissioning of new projects, such as The Queenslea. Angela further provided sound clinical service and care for residents while delivering the business strategy and building on profitability.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service WA (RFDS WA) is a national, charitable, health organisation delivering primary healthcare and 24-hour emergency services for those that live in rural and remote Western Australia.As the Head of Operations for Health Services Delivery, Angela was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations for all RFDS flights in Western Australia as well as the development of health service delivery for Paramedic services to remote mining operations on- and offshore. She was also instrumental in developing business opportunities for growth beyond current business acumen to provide better access to medicine for remote and rural Western Australians.

St John Ambulance is Australia’s leading provider of First Aid training, with over 140 years of experience serving the community.For over seven years Angela was a front-line Paramedic working in various locations throughout Metropolitan Perth. Finally, she found true purpose to her work in the form of helping people in their time of need. When Angela was promoted to a management role where there was operational responsibility for the entire Metropolitan Ambulance Service, she discovered that this allowed her to touch more lives, while also seamlessly delivering key performance results to the Department of Health that met and exceeded contractual obligations. These successes led Angela to the position of Operations Manager for Mental Health and Primary Health, where she worked on developing business opportunities to improve the mental health service model for Western Australia. After this Angela saw her final promotion within St John Ambulance to Operations Manager of Health Services (including Aged Care). Within this high-profile position she grew the business beyond its former business acumen, while also managing the operational strategy and implementation of business growth and daily operations for five sites and Urgent Care by the end of her tenure.
