I became interested in architecture because of how much the environment and spaces around us affect us. During my studies in Building Engineering-Architecture in Pisa, I felt the need to design spaces from the point of view of the people who walk through it, spaces that bring people back to a closer contact with nature and its rhythms. Throughout my career I have delved into the principles of environmental and energy sustainability, taking an interest in bioclimatic architecture and biophilic design. During my experience at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, I delved into issues related to building process management and BIM technology. I carried out a collaboration with the Municipality of Mistretta for the recovery of historical heritage, designing the reuse of an abandoned neighborhood in the historic center with the idea of giving new life to places, stories and cultures that perhaps would otherwise be lost. I see architecture as a world in which I can express creativity and passions, such as photography, music, art; but also as a means to improve people's quality of life and mitigate social inequality.To see more please visit: https://www.studiogalantini.it/
