Hello, I’m Angela McNay. I am currently a Senior Student Support Specialist at Mizzou’s School of Natural Resources, where I serve as the internship coordinator for the Parks, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism program.I have previously worked as a Graduate Assistant in Mizzou Made Academics, which is the athletics academics department at Mizzou. I gained experience in academic services for our Men’s Basketball, M/W Track and Field, Gymnastics, Baseball, Wrestling, and Tutoring/Mentoring programs. I’m a 2024 University of Missouri graduate, where I received a Master’s degree in Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership. I also obtained a Positive Psychology Graduate Certificate. In 2021, I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Sport with an emphasis in Sport Management, as well as a minor in Hospitality Management at the University of Missouri. I gained my love of sports from Hall of Fame Coach Norm Stewart and former head men’s basketball coach at St. John’s University, University of Missouri, and University of Arkansas, Mike Anderson. While collegiate athletics is a passion, I am now gaining experience on Mizzou’s campus in a program that helped shape me into the young professional I am today. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, it is greatly appreciated!
