FORWARD Programme 1st AssignmentSupporting the Project Management team in the aluminium can line conversion project in the Agoncillo plant. The three existing steel can lines were removed, the whole building updated, and a new high speed aluminium line installed.Main activities: planning tasks, coordination with different contractors and suppliers, managing deliveries and storage of new machinery, warehouse management during installation process, invoice tracking and reporting tasks.

Internship in the ARLUY’s Warehouse and Logistics department.Main tasks performed during the work experience:- Inventory: to identify potential improvements in the current inventory procedure and to define a new procedure to perform it. In addition, to prepare the list of materials to be checked in the weekly inventory, and to verify the deviations between the Enterprise Resource Planning and the Warehouse Management System.- Warehouse locations: to identify improvements in the warehouse’s layout, defining a new procedure to manipulate and move the materials from the warehouse to the production plant and vice versa in a more efficient way.- To monitor the implementation of the defined procedures in the warehouse and the production plant to assure their efficiency.

Working in the development of CAVEAT (Collision Avoidance Validation and Evaluation Tool), specifically in the development of its front-end.CAVEAT is a cutting-edge simulator which applies the Monte-Carlo method for testing collision avoidance algorithms (TCAS II 6.04a, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 and ACAS Xa, Xu, Xo). The main purpose of this project is to validate the new generation of Airborne Collision Avoidance algorithms in the European airspace.

The final thesis of my bachelor's degree deals about the development of a user-friendly Human Machine Interface for a new simulation tool for the validation of the new generation of ACAS (Airborne Collision Avoidance System) algorithms. The project has been performed during my internship at Everis Aeroespacial y Defensa, in the Air Traffic Management department.
