Client Delivery and Accounting Team Management Successfully manage over 15 government contracting accounting clients simultaneously Select consultants and staff client accounts matching abilities and personalities Manage team of 10-15 consultants and employees from bookkeeper to CFO level Establish and maintain appropriate accounting policies in compliance with FAR, GAAP, or CAS when required Perform DCAA accounting compliance assessments for clients to include recommendations and remediation Conduct all controller-level accounting activities for clients to include – produce monthly financial reports, develop indirect rate structures, track contract backlog/burn rate, review pricing proposals, track and report on cash flow, monitor lines of credit and produce bank reports per requirements, balance sheet reconciliation, end customer invoice submission, contract brief development and maintenance, and contract option year close out support Consult with client executives on plan objectives, operating policies and procedures and organizational structure Maintain relationships and coordinate with clients’ banking contacts, tax consultants, benefit brokers, HR consultants, etc. Corporate Accounting Manage all aspects of the company’s financial and accounting functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, cash management, job cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, invoices, taxes, and bank reconciliation) Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements Manage corporate bookkeeper and assign all tasking Corporate Sales Support Conduct meetings and sales calls with potential clients, brief corporate capabilities, maintained high successful close rate Design sales pricing structures tailored to each potential client Write and review corporate proposals for accounting services sales
